⭐️ ⭐️ On this day in 2008 ⭐️ ⭐️ 

Jive Records released Britney's 6th studio album, Circus, in Europe. It was released in the United States on December 2nd.

Circus sold over 505,000 copies in the USA in its first week of release and was certified platinum in January 2009.

Same here! Great memories during this era. I still remember waking up super early to watch GMA on December 2nd when the album was released in the US. Also it was her birthday, she announced the Circus tour, and the “Circus” single got released all in one day.  :OMGney_britney_surprised_no_way_shocked_wide_eyes:
 

Also, Great choices. “Unusual You” is my favorite song from the album as well. :wink_britney_everytime_white:

My favorite album EVER from Britney. 
 

 

This is the first album I bought from Britney’s discography, I was only 11 years. I was SO PROUD and happy as a new fan, and for her, that I played the album nonstop for months, I think a year honestly,

masterpiece, don't see why people have to distance themselves from it because it's c-ship material - it's still art :brityes_britney_yes_nodding:

++ mannequin, shattered glass and lace & leather are deep cuts that need recognition

Wait… wasn’t it released on December 2nd. Her birthday. 
I remember this cuz that was when I went to virgin megastore on Times Square and got it as soon as it came out.

i love shattered glass but it kinda sounds as if the production stopped halfway.
