Singer/writer Tulisa explains how Will.I.Am took Scream & Shout from her and how Britney's verses are actually Tulisa's voice

wait so I get she said no and it's her vocals and that, but isn't it will's as well? like HE could've said no too to it being on Tulisa's album. and the song would've never been released? weird. also weird that if she said yes from the beginning she would've received the royalties anyway and wouldn't have to have spend millions on a lawsuit. Well, I'm not defendind will cause the music industry is awful specially with not-known singers like tulisa, but on the other hand she was offered to receive it and every pop song contains vocals from the demo /backup singer

I have always wondered why Britney’s voice is so deep in some parts.

This finally explains it. Thank you. This is why we need Exhale

Omg this is the Tulisa who used to be a judge on X Factor? I would have NEVER guessed. She looks and sounds so different. Poor thing - she clearly felt so much pressure to change everything about herself.

Also why hasn’t she been given writing credits on Spotify

Yes it’s true. Also the original version was meant to be on her album but removed from the tracklist at the last minute. No the lyrics aren’t groundbreaking but she still co-wrote it so it’s only right she sought to get an official credit on the song. She also still has backing vocals on Will and Britney’s version.

She has Balls Palsy syndrome which caused the muscles in her face to drop which is why she got fillers. She speaks about it in the same podcast.

Also Spotify credits can be inaccurate sometimes.

A 10 year old could’ve written this song. The lyrics are that simple. She’s just jealous it was super successful. Sit down girl.

She was asked about it and she answered. She won de lawsuit, so she was right. Is she jealous because she’s telling the truth?

I'm guessing when it was her song it was either just what she had without the Will I Am parts, and that he took the song as a base and added his own verses or either he replaced her voice with his on the verses he decided to do and just layered Britney's voice over her parts and kept Tulisa's voice as a background to add some depth.

That's what I'd do when I 'd steal a song.

If that’s true, I feel bad for her

She didn't say Britney's verses are her voice! Why would you frame it like that in a thread title? You're saying the reel is spreading all over and obviously that is negative points for Britney's legacy. And then you proceed to perpetuate that....

She said Britney's vocals are layered over hers and even explained why the verses are then in an English accent.

Ever since the song came out, Britney's spoken verses sounded different to me, like her voice sounded so deep and with an accent that I remember thinking she was just in the pre-chorus, until I saw the video and realized it was all her (supposedly). Now Tulisa says this and it finally makes sense! She even gives an example of where it sounds like her voice, including the English accent. She's stating a fact, I posted about it, so I am sorry that you can't handle it.

You saying "Britney's vocals are layered over hers but it still sounds like an English accent" is giving "JLO sang over Ashanti's voice but the song still sounds like Ashanti". :ehidk_britney_um_eek:
