I genuinely dont say this out of anger or cause im butthurt, but it is genuinely VERY obvious this list is based on payrolls lol. Billboards has been lickin Beyonce's boot for well over a decade now. Same with TS. I am genuinely surprised Britney even landed the top 10 given that she 100000% didn't give them a cent to be on this list. I mean Drake? Jay z? They are not even pop artists like wtf? lol. Literally Billboard announced they are building this list and waited for these artists to send money to their bank account and then compiled it. Very few artists on this list are objectively there, and even then, their spots on the list aren't objectively made.

There's not a universe where Drake is more influential than Britney , or even 90% of women on this list that are behind him.

Billboard is sad and I'm looking forward for the day they go bankrupt for their guerrilla "journalism"

It took Taylor a decade to get her album to diamond and that's all streaming, same as Katy Perry. This listing is a pathetic joke much like the modern pop music industry
