I don't believe she will ever have a successful single again. The only time her music was a hit was when she was forced to be somebody she was not, and sing catchy upbeat pop songs. When left to her own devices she tends to go with Christian or country-leaning music and that's not going to get a big response with aging millennials. And all of that was nice without talking about her looks.

Her music career was very mismanaged. She rarely got the chance to be in a genre she was full comfortable and confident in.

Despite having some highlights, her discograpy is inconsistent and weird - trend chasing and try and error.

I hope her new music is something she is truly proud of
