Britney was released from her conservatorship after 13 years. The termination came after Britney's explosive testimony in June and public sentiment against the conservatorship. Britney was granted the right to her own attorney on July 14, selecting former federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart. 

Following the termination of the conservatorship, Britney tweeted, "I think I'm gonna cry the rest of the day !!!! Best day ever."

I didn't even celebrate back in 2022... something was really fishy about the whole thing.

I feel a tremendous relief that she finally got freed. The relief gives me a certain comfort. Not like much else. I wonder what relief she is feeling now. I want to worry about her wellbeing instead of her being in a prison within herself. With a gate you can't see. To breake free from the invisible gate is so hard. To do it as a famous person takes billions of courage. To do it almost alone. What super power person can do that? Only Britney! I'm so unbelievably proud of her!!! I hope, really hope, that she can feel our love ❤️ We believe in you, as the amazing person you are, not the super star. We love you, with or without the human drama! Love love love ❤️
