MEOVV have announced the comeback date for TOXIC.

The Black Label girl group will make their first comeback since debuting with 'Meow' this past September. MEOVV is set to return with their second single, TOXIC, on November 18 KST. According to internal sources at Teddy's office (producer for BLACKPINK), the single will be an uptempo hip-hop track featuring a sample of the iconic song of the same name by the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears.

I can hear some rhythm close to Slave 4 U but not Toxic.

The video attached is not the new song. The song with the sample will be released later this month.

I cant tell these groups apart anymore. Feels like every week there's a new one.

same.

dance moves, songs, music, performances, music videos they all look similar to each other. i do not even understand why they make 5564547546 girl bands or boy bands that all look very similar in every part. what is the point? k pop bands is one of the most overrated things ever.

What's the point? Don’t you understand the entertainment industry? Bands like BLACKPINK and BTS are currently the most globally successful groups. They hold unimaginable records for American artists on digital platforms, sell out world stadium tours, and represent a massive K-pop industry. There are millions of companies in Korea, and each one wants its own BTS or BLACKPINK. It’s not hard to figure out, it's like asking why the U.S. keeps launching so many rappers. Isn’t one enough?

thats another thing. i mean when you look at the artists in west, the music they make or the artist itself is different than each other most of the time. I mean you can look at Britney, Nicki, Mariah Carey, Xtina, Ariana, etc. they make pop music but they have different styles, voices etc. they are unique in their own way and you can tell the difference easily.
but i really cannot tell the difference between the Blackpink or 2NE1 or any other girl band because the songs they make all sound same. Nothing special or unique between the bands.
Thats why i find kpop bands very overrated.

That's completely biased, subjective, and without truth. Maybe to you, American artists all seem unique, but to someone from abroad, if you look at Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Latto, they can all look the same. same aesthetic, same rap style. It was the same in the 2000s. Backstreet Boys emerged, then NSYNC, then tons of other boy bands, and after Britney came Xtina, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, etc. Every company wanted their own Britney. In K-pop, it’s similar, each group is distinct and unique, with talented singers, dancers, and actors who were trained for years. That’s different from many American artists today, who often don't bring much to the stage, and their stage presence is minimal. I could give you an endless list of kpop groups with different concepts, but I find your opinion comes off as prejudiced.

Example:

NewJeans’ concept centers around a Y2K aesthetic, with their music rooted in R&B and pop. For their debut EP, they banned the use of autotune and other modern recording and production elements, opting to execute everything as if it were recorded in the '90s.

(G)I-DLE is a female group where the members write, compose, and produce their own music. One of the members is a music producer, which is rare in the industry. They address controversial topics in their songs; for example, their track "Nxde" explores the objectification of women in society, sparking significant controversy.

Red Velvet is a group with a dark and cryptic concept. They play with the "cute" concept to portray darker emotions, as seen in their song "Psycho." They also incorporate elements of classical music, adding depth and contrast to their unique style

MAMAMOO is a group known for the exceptional vocal and performance abilities of all its members. Each member stands out as a powerful vocalist and charismatic performer, setting them apart in the industry for their live performance quality and versatility.

And I could go on naming countless groups that are unique in both concept and visual and musical identity. If you think they’re all the same, that perspective seems biased and possibly influenced by other intentions. Each group in K-pop has its own artistic approach, and dismissing them as similar overlooks the diversity and creativity in the industry.
