Should there have been a Glory tour?

2017 (I know I'm surprised too)

I know because of PoM that never happened, but they just added the new songs to it.

I think instead of the PoM tour they could have done a Glory tour.

Yes. It would have given Britney the chance to change things up and perform her new material, like she desperately wanted to do. Imo, the residency should have ended in 2015 and Britney could have toured in support of the album in 2017, after a well deserved 2-year break.

However, her kids were still pretty young at the time, so it made sense for her to stay put in Vegas. I’m still mad I never got a chance to fly out there and see the show. If I had known she was planning to retire I would’ve found a way to make it happen.

:katyclown_makeup_mess_pie_meme_smile: I just know if people knew she was retiring after that Britney would become global #1 again

No. I don't think the album is strong enough to warrant a tour. I'm biased though as I only care for a few songs off the whole deluxe tracklist.

As big on radio as the Femme Fatale era was, she struggled to sell out many shows. Maybe that's why she was shifted to a Vegas legacy act, which was then a cashcow. People want to hear all of her hits.

Wikipedia does not list all of the dates, but here is how the tour was ranked.

In December 2011, the Femme Fatale Tour was number 19 on Billboard's Top 25 Tours of 2011. The magazine counted for 39 of the tour's dates (14 of which were sold out) with an overall gross of $37.1 million and 396,000 tickets sold.[52] According to Pollstar, in North America, the tour was the fourteenth highest-grossing tour of 2011, with $38.3 million in ticket sales and 423,017 people attending at an average of 9,196 per show.[53] Worldwide, the Femme Fatale Tour was the eleventh highest-grossing tour of 2011, with a gross of $68.7 million. 697,957 fans attended the shows worldwide, with an average attendance of 8,724, paying an average of $98.43.[2]

Nope. Did you see the Piece of Me tour? That was SAD! You can tell it had no budget or thought put into it. Very cheap. It was also the tour she was threatened into doing. At the point Glory was released, Britney was just going through the motions in Vegas. She didn’t want to be working, especially being forced to preform. She was done. Nor do I think the album alone is a tour able album.

She would be sued if she performed Private Show from people's ears bleeding hearing that high pitched song in an arena :tiffcackle_Tiffany_miss_ny_New_York_pollard_laugh_giggle_lol_haha_hehe:

If she did have a tour of Glory, I think since a lot of the album has chill, midtempo songs, it would work great in small club settings :tbh_britney_nod_yes_yas_ftr_for_the_record_vma_2008_circus:
