Rihanna made a comment about her music career that has some fans concerned about the status of her long-awaited new album. 

It's been nearly a decade now since the 36-year-old "Diamonds" hitmaker dropped her last album ANTI. Since then, there's been talk of new music, but she's largely focused on other projects including her Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty businesses.

Just few months ago she was still saying that if she didn't release the album before the end of the year than it will be ridiculous! And now she's like God has other plans for me? After Britney, now my second fav Rihanna is "officially" quiting the music industry... Ugh!

I have no clue about the real tea. Like I said, celebrities are really good for hiding nasty stuff behind the scene with fake smile and fake happy "everything is fine" speeches, people, fans will only learn the real tea 30 years after.

I don't think it has anything to do with Diddy, but maybe Jay Z and maybe his conditions? Maybe she only wanted total freedom for her new material and they didn't let her... Maybe it's way more than that... I don't know...

I'm only sure that something doesn't fit with the God has other plans for me narrative while she keept teasing fans since years! I'm convinced that she wouldn't never intentionally tease and lie to the fans for so many years for NO REASON! I think she fought all along and then give it up because she resigned herself to not winning this fight. I found it so strange to kind of "erase" that passion for absolutely no reason!
