It's giving Break The Ice at 1:22 :tiffanynod_miss_ms_ny_new_york_yes_yas_nodding_agree: was the naming intentional? :jj_janet_smirk_hehe_haha_lmao_lol_giggle: Break The Ice and Start Somethin' have similar meanings

I think he said he uses an app which is like soundboard and you just push the beats and pre-made samples together to create a song. It basically does most of the work for you and you just piece together the layers. 

I don’t think it’s illegal or theft as these pre- made sounds are available to all their users and I think you have to pay to use it.

But It does means there is no originality in the work being produced as thousands of users are using the same selections of samples to create their ‘music’ resulting in all these songs sounding the same.

As a amateur music producer myself I’m well aware of these apps and how the work. Theresa big difference between sampling and copying. It’s strange someone would use all the same components together (best, bass, melody, etc.) in an identical way to another song which was released prior to yours. 

And lots of artists use these apps but are still able to make original work. Even Kayne. This is not the point. 

Both Wizard2444 and Kerg_beat appear to be legitimate artists with their work of Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify. Not sure if we should lump them together with “thousands of users are using the same selections of samples” you so flippantly state, thus discrediting anything they do in defence of Jay. I guess you’re not a creator so you wouldn’t understand.

It is. The user is being attention seeking kind of how a certain fellow (but talented) producer was being:cackling_cackle_lol_what_unbelievable_disbelief_glasses_meme::byebitch_britney_wave_black_white_and_bw_sunglasses_bye_hi_walking_leaving:

Anyone can upload to streaming services and Jay could easily  if he paid for Distrokid or AngelBaby to act as the distributor. This person is being critical of an existing set/loop that other unknown producers he referenced used as well. i don’t think Jay went out of his way to copy some random producer with 8 views on YouTube, no offence. @TheVoodooThatWeDo you seem more amateurish than not if you didn’t know this
