Lana Del Rey says her country album is now going southern gothic

While Lana told fans earlier this year she was “going country” for her next album ‘Lasso,’ she’s now taking a slightly different route. “There was a lot of ‘American flair,’ too much of that very American aesthetic,” she shared in a new interview with Vogue Italia. “I stopped because I didn’t recognize myself. I would like this album to be a reflection of the person I am today.”

Lana is instead turning to a slightly different aesthetic — southern gothic. This doesn’t mean scrapping the work she’s already done though: “the songs I have, I love, so I don’t want to turn it into something that’s half cooked, even if it’s super stripped back” Lana told People Magazine this month. “I want it to be what it was supposed to be.”

After taking an “energetic pause” on ‘Lasso’ it seems that Lana is back to work with a slightly new direction.

After that she commented on the post of @pigsandplans's IG which has those excerpts of Vogue Italia and People magazine saying:

You know, her parents are good in money and promotion, she is good in seeking attention. She is such a product with nice packaging and nice gowns and beautiful gowns, and nice advertising, but after opening the product you find out that there is nothing useful and that the product cannot be returned and you haven't money....

On the other hand, Lana is a product made from natural organic ingredients and that it will not harm you in any way.
