The Dream Within A Dream Tour launched in Columbus, Ohio. The tour, which lasted for 68 shows, included two legs in the US and Canada with additional stops in Japan and Mexico. The first Las Vegas stop was broadcast on HBO and later released on DVD as Britney Spears Live from Las Vegas.

Fun story: I attended the Houston, TX date on June 16, 2002. It was my first concert experience and my first time seeing Britney live. My mom got me tickets and we sat really high up but I didn’t care, it was so worth it. The pure magic was in the air and I’ll never forget the feeling! Pure magic.

This Britney tour would definitely be sold out today if Britney were to simply repeat it in 2024/25 without any changes. I wonder if Britney will look back on her heyday as queen herself?
