It was the beggining of her successful Future Nostalgia era.

"Don't Start Now" is considered to be the beginning of a revival for disco music in 2020 as downtempo, urban-styled music previously dominated mainstream music. 

Dua Lipa wrote "Don't Start Now" with the same team who wrote her 2017 single "New Rules": Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren and Ian Kirkpatrick.

The video was released latter on november 1st.

It's so weird how her label decided to release such a mediocre album after the first two. They have all of the resources in the world and they make generic-azz songs with them.
