We need to bully RCA into uploading all of Britney’s released songs on streaming services

We all know RCA is trash but the least they could do is have all of her released songs available on stream. I was thinking we could organize (with twitter stans) and ask them to complete her catalog. It worked with Glory so maybe this could work as well. If anyone has any ideas on how to get them to listen or maybe knows someone on the inside please share!

Missing songs:

OIDIA: Girl In The Mirror, You Got It All

In The Zone: Girls and Boys 

Chaotic: Over To You Now 

Blackout: Outta This World

Circus: Quicksand, Amnesia, Trouble, Rock Boy

Femme Fatale: Scary

I feel like I’m probably missing one but these are the ones I remember

Right now, I’d honestly settle for a re-issue of Blackout with previously unreleased tracks, & “Crucify Me” as a new single.    This photo would be the cover art:

I wonder if they aren’t touching her catalogue rn bc they were scared of getting dragged for it by Britney if she’s not directly asking for something to be done.

Cuz the last release we got was the Crossroads Remixes and I’m sure Britney approved that since she was the one to want Crossroads in theatre in the first place.

Even bands like S-Club and Steps have had all their b-sides etc uploaded to streaming. Billie Piper, who hasn’t been a musician since 2001, has all her singles and b-sides uploaded.

Not sure what Britney’s label and Cade can’t be bothered to get everything up on streaming

i don’t even think she would notice tbh and if she did why would it bother her? they’re songs that were already on her albums. 

i don’t even want them to make a big deal out of it just simply put them on stream an that’s it.

I think the problem is that RCA is lazy asf with ALL of their clients, not only Britney. They’re trash. Just look at her chart performance since she joined RCA, they’re bad at promoting and caring for their artists

I love the idea of expanding her streaming catalog with those tracks, but I think the one with power to do so would be Britney, or her manager. Also, keep in mind that when Glory was re-released, she had an actual team of people to help make that happen. It’s kind of awkward right now, in that aspect, seems like it’s just her, and one other person — & she’s usually in her own little world, on IG (Doubt she even thinks about it).

That said, I don’t think it’d be that difficult to add those songs on streaming platforms, so I understand your dilemma, but I also don’t know exactly how it all works.

I just know we need all those songs. :otears_oprah_crying_tissue_napkin_tears_sobbing_sad:

yeah i know :tifftear_miss_ny_new_york_ms_crying_wipe_tears_sad:it’s just so infuriating because how hard can it be to properly upload her albums??

maybe we could really push in the respective album anniversaries, it’s the only time we might get some traction. still, cade is probably too busy singing BOMT to make it happen.

It's not that simple! Most of those tracks are exclusive to certain regions or limited to physical form only. This means RCA would need to go over contracts from the past and put a lot of money to work them out. Keep in mind those tracks had a limited release, and the writer/producer were given a certain amount of money. Now if you make those tracks available worldwide, it'd mean the writer/producer can sue RCA for breach of contract. Not to mention some of those tracks were signed under JIve, dated 24 years ago.

'Till the world ends remix' took more than 10 years to become available worldwide on streaming, there's a reason for that...

 

I don't say it's impossible but it takes money. Is it worth it for the record label? I don't think so
