2024's proving successful for Addison Rae as an artist. Her first single, Obsessed (2021), peaked at #10 at Bubbling Under Hot 100 and canceled her first EP due to lack of confidence. She released Diet Pepsi - her major label debut single - and Aquamarine, both co-written by her for her deal with Columbia Records. She also collaborated with Charli XCX for her Von dutch remix and her older song 2 die 4.

Diet Pepsi peaked at #54 on the Billboard US Hot 100 and #35 on the Billboard Global 200. Only yesterday she released Aquamarine (which was featured in the music video for Diet Pepsi), which is already climbing the charts.

Her style has drawn comparisons with Britney Spears and Lana Del Rey, and Addison cited Britney as inspiration for Diet Pepsi. 

She also appeared as a guest on Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's Sweat tour.

I really wanted her to flop but you can't deny the serve - she flipped a hater with these two songs

The fact that she completely switched it up is so impressive. I didn’t know she had this in her, but whatever it is, I really like it.

Diet Pepsi is literally my anthem right now, and this new song feels like it’s just for the gays and us only. Love it, and I can’t wait for more. She’s definitely Britney’s daughter.

I really don’t understand why this girl is famous, but oh well. I don’t want to be too negative and say anything bad, so let’s go with something positive… that performance of “Obsessed” wasn’t so bad, and she looks pretty in that video. Other than that, I don’t have anything else to say.
