There cannot be an official release it wasn’t recorded professionally these shots are at best 720 or 1080 definition

I think there were rumours about a professional recording of the whole show in 2011 here on exhale . As far as I remember, there were problems with one of the songs. 

Does anyone know if the BOMT tour has been fully recorded?

The Boys licensing story was false, they would’ve just edited it out. And yes a BOMT recording exists in full.

I thought it was recorded but wasnt released because of some copyright and agreement issues. Thats what i recall.

No that’s incorrect. Recording for a broadcast or dvd is different than Jumbotron footage. Jumbotron projections are at best 1080 HD and are mainly closeups with next to no wide shots. An example  of this is fft dvd and the dress rehearsals, the dvd was shot professionally specifically for release whereas the dress rehearsals are the Jumbotron projections. Yahoo were allowed to publish the Copenhagen intro because it was simply for promotional purposes, they posted it in 480 resolution which back then was normal for online playback. If you check the fft dvd credits you’ll notice they differ than the tour book for the videographers for this reason, hope this clarifies  

 

Basically by our standards yes a professional recording exists for many shows including rehearsals but for release absolutely not.

I remember it too. It was during the Vegas shows at Mandalay Bay. If you search the archives it may say something.

Some of the fan videos capture the Jumbotron footage and it’s not bad quality. If I had the time I’d make a compilation of all the fan videos we have of the Jumbo screens

Not enough to piece anything together and most are LQ this was the start of the  bladkberry era and people didn’t really use compact digital cameras

It wasn’t recorded properly it got cancelled

They could not publish recordings/make the DVD because of trademarks and copyrights for "The Circus Starring" portion I believe is what her team said at the time.

I read the 360 screen had copyright issues something to do with U2 having the rights.

The screens were copyrighted, there is court documents with the tour producer online
