I feel like it sounds like a product of its time, more or less. It’s an amazing album, but for the teens today it sounds a bit dated. 

I think they’re discovering blackout now because it still sounds fresh, the production was ahead of its time. And it’s pure, electro, dark pop. It knew exactly what it was. 
Doesn't really have any slow party’s either, you can just play it through without thinking.
