My eyes in water I just watched this!

i remember watching this back in 2016, it's so cute, everyone loves her, even Kanye liked it, Nick Jonas is funny he liked it too, everyone!!!!! this performance is so special, I remember the feeling watching it, the beginning is so magical and Make Me is such a good song to listen LOUD it has that smooth ethereal effect!

I don't like that all these celebrities got to see this performance of Britney, which I consider to be one of her worst. It's a shame, she was better at the Billboards for me. I hated that horrible yellow outfit, the lack of dancing, the lack of dancers. There was so much anticipation around this event, especially since it was the VMAs. They made no effort, and in the end it was terrible. "Make Me"  isn't good anyway, it's her worst lead single in my opinion,with the ridiculous ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh  that I can't stand. Even the 2007 VMAs, with all their flaws, all the ****, were better than this because Britney still exuded something, there was something destructive with a poisoned aura, something raw and savage. This time, it was just a flop in front of a crowd that was expecting her big comeback. It could have been so much better, like choosing a really good song from the album like "Better" or "Change Your Mind", adding dancers, getting rid of that hideous yellow outfit, and making her move with a real VMA scandal vibe. Then I understand, they wanted to erase the bad memory of the VMAs for her, so they took no risks, but in that case they should have done nothing at all.

I love the Make Me performance, I love it was a simple cute performance without much but very effective, the yellow outfit looks so good on her, she did amazing IMO

I don't want to ruin your memory, but for me, it was a huge disappointment, to the point where I denied the event for a long time. It was a decent performance, but it was her return to the VMAs after nearly 10 years, and people were eagerly anticipating it. Honestly, it was insufficient. It's better not to do anything at the VMAs when you've been as iconic as she was than to do something that falls significantly short of the ceremony's history.

For a midtempo song, it was a very entertaining performance. Most artists would stand on the stage or even sit on a stool for that song.

I remember she got BEST DRESSED on fashion police for that red carpet look! That's incredible. She was stunning that night.

Britney looked AMAZING that night, like a Goddess..BUT... I didn't like the performance and was quite underwhelming considering she was improving at vegas around that time... nerves got in the way and I believe she does not have the same natural 'owning the sht' stage presence while dancing that she had in the golden years 1998-2004. There is a lot of trauma and she lost that passion and confidence. We all wished for years she would heal and love herself but I feel...more than ever, it wont happen anytime soon...or ever..Tho' I really hope one day it may happen. Hope is all

the only thing I wish she would have done differently was having more dancers and that no wannabe rapper along side her

Those pictures sure look pretty but I thought it was a rather disappointing performance of a rather lackluster song. 

I sort of regretted hyping it up and telling my friends & fam to tune in.
