Well, Tinashe isn’t white, but I’m sure we can overlook that if we are choosing from pop stars instead of pro actors to play Britney, since Tinashe is the only pop girl on the scene that can match the dance skills of Britney.

Ngl im torn between wanting someone who actually looks like Britney versus someone who can dance like Britney (because, let’s be honest, it will be near impossible finding someone who looks like Britney and can dance like Britney)

I love Tinashe, but it's a biopic, and for the viewer to believe in it, she needs to look a bit like Britney, and that starts with being white, sorry baby

I think the issue here is pretty black-and-white, no?

 

But yes, in an alternate universe, Tinashe could slay the part. At least the dancing aspect. She grew up on Britney and her talent as a dancer is unrivaled among today’s pop girlies.

I think that’s why the interviewer started with “in an alternate universe” before asking the question.

No disrespect to Ms Titi. Love Ha🥰 I would rather have a better actress than a strong dancer. We don’t need to see a recreation of her performances. We need a girl who can bring Britney’s story to life. Dancing and singing is a huge part of Britney’s story but thats not all of it. Maybe Im Crazy 🤪 lol
