Christina Aguilera Shares True Feelings About The Kiss With Britney & Madonna

One bright spot: her infamous threeway kiss with Britney Spears and Madonna at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

“Love a good make out moment. I love a theme, I love a concept. I love a specific character to get into,” she said of the performance, which saw the trio perform a mashup of “Like a Virgin,” “Hollywood” and “Work It” — Britney and Christina dressed as brides and Madonna as their groom.

“You know, Madonna playing the the role of the groom. It was such a cool … like wow — we’re up here with Madonna and we’re part of this huge moment,” she added. “It was really fun. The energy leading up to it, the rehearsals, everything. It was pretty magical.”

They did switch which is why Britney's fat shaming of Legend X was a mess, same when Brit expected to have X Tina talk about her on her Grammy night.

I felt secondhand embarrassment for her at the time when she seemed so pressed about it. I get it, anyone would be, but most at least try to hide it. 

It’s probably always gonna sting that she wasn’t the highlight of the performance and it’s natural, but it’s nice that she’s showing a more positive attitude about it nowadays. I also liked what she said about Britney when FreeBritney went viral. Hope she makes a decent comeback eventually, she’s talented and seems more grounded nowadays.

I think she's having the last laugh now though, she's looking beautiful, still making millions and enjoying her life with her family, her Vegas show and having fun.

After years of xtina being a bitter mean girl I'm glad she's taking a new approach. Britney's working on her confidence she's said so many times on her insta but people love to tear her down constantly.
