Once again, it's broken up by weight classes, and on top of that, they're fighters. Framing this as a "man" hitting a woman is silly, she's a boxer; she's going to fight. 

You are correct in everything you are saying. But it cannot change the fact a biological male for at least 18 years had different hormones and chemicals running through their bones, muscles, tissue, everything. You cannot change all that, even with all the supplements and hormones that you want. Their bone density will literally be more, you can’t change your bones with hormones.

They can try to level the field as much as they want, but a biological man will always be stronger than a biological female. It will never be fair, and unfortunately that cannot be changed with dr**s, ever.

You can break up categories for certain sports sure, but when it comes to physical activities it is not a fair situation. I don’t care if trans women want to compete, but put them into categories that are appropriate.

Why did the Olympics allow this to happen?  Trans men competing against biological women is one of the biggest reasons (other than the bathroom debate) why the right are so against trans rights.

It's not a male boxer, she was born female but has xy chromosomes because she has DSD. You guys bark all the same stuff like parrots without actually doing any fact-checking.

I think the whole "trans women are women and trans men are men" take needs to be done away with, it's misleading at worst and disingenuous at best. Trans people ARE men/women, I wouldn't deny anyone their humanity and no one should, but Trans women are TRANS women and trans men are TRANS men. They are not lesser or greater than anyone else, they are not being disrespected or devalued by being referred to as trans men and women, that is simply who they are. The more we all play pretend and tiptoe around facts to prevent hurt feelings, the further we fall into a place where referencing science and fact in intelligent discussion becomes an offense.

 

At the end of the day, do what you want, what you want with your body its yours, and as long as you aren't imposing anything on me or anyone else in the process, I couldn't care less.

Still not on the same starting level as the female athlete. As if it doesn’t happen anyway and Is happening in the Olympics and many other sports and competitions worldwide. This was never an issue until psycho extreme leftist nonsense the past few years. She should be banned

That's a separate discussion. The fighter is not a born male but you guys all act as if she is. At least stick to the facts and don't repeat fake news. Rowling is smart enough to write fantasy books but too stupid to do fact checking.

Imane failed a gender eligibility test and there have been many questions around his eligibility in the event. The IOC also noted “elevated levels of testosterone failed to meet eligibility criteria” in some tests last year. Yet they allowed him to complete in the women’s qualifiers.

It’s already stressful and intense to train as an athlete and to have cheats and test users and “is he a she or he” questions - it’s the same as athletes that try and compete using performance enhancing dr**s. They are banned, as should athletes who want to sneak into female categories for an easy win.

I'm sure you would have believed that she was born and raised as a boy simply because Rowling said so.
