Your question was if Doja has replaced Rihanna...in what way?  Rihanna is Rihanna and Doja is a demon.

Let's be real - Rihanna never really had much to offer besides personality. Doja has personality + talent in spades, so good riddance, IMO.

I said this about Ariana a couple years ago- cause Ariana and Rihanna both had huge hits that were kinda urban pop and Ariana was releasing tunes very regularly there for awhile. She also had some high profile features w Justin bieber, nicki and the weeknd while Rihanna had big songs w drake, Calvin Harris and nicki as well. And Britney! Lol 

Ariana swooped in as soon as Rihanna took a step back and took her place as super popular pop girl on the music scene. Who are also known for their beauty

I don’t see a clear connection between the two. Rihanna is an icon, whereas Doja still has a lot to prove. She’s had a few hits, but nothing to signal a lasting public interest.

I’m not a Rihanna Stan (though I am a fan), but she hustled to get where she’s at, almost to the point of overexposing herself. Doja feels very much part of this new age celebrity/influencer which feels  watered down and forgettable, at least to me. She’s talented though.
