Should Britney Be Awarded the Video Vanguard Again to Redeem the 2011 Controversy?

Both Gaga and Britney seemed rather confused for introducing a woman with a less impressive videography than theirs(no shade, facts). They need to redeem themselves with another Video Vanguard ASAP!

I agree. They should consider giving her the Global Icon award or even create a new one in her honor. The way they treated Britney after she carried that show for years was quite messy.

Idk if they should've gave her another Video Vanguard but maybe a special award just for her like they did with MJ at the 2002 VMAs.

I think it would've been a great opportunity for her to get a special award this year especially because its the 25th anniversary of her career.

 

If MTV did that and Britney actually showed up to receive it,

I think it would have been good publicity and a reminder of why she's been famous for almost 30 yrs now.

Cade should've arranged that since he is apparently her "manager" and was there at the show.

Idk why he is called her manager if he don't do anything for her career.

Heck I think us fans would be better at managing her career and legacy than him.

She should be the 1st person to hold vanguard and global icon award simultaneously. If she comes back before next yr and Vegas gives her more confidence they should do it for her next yr
