I think it was another case of wanting to get married for the "idea" of it like with Kevin. She was free, in love, wanted that fairytale happily ever after and jumped. It's crystal clear what Scam cares about.

Their relationship reminds me when I used to live in my small city back in the super homophobic country, there was only one decent gay guy (he was still not it for me) but we kinda dated only because we were both each others only options.

Hmmm, I will choose to believe it to some degree. She wanted to celebrate her freedom with the man she loved because she had just regained her freedom to make her own decisions! Scam on the other hand... Well, it's clear why he wanted marriage.

I really think Britney was very in love with Sam and he with her, I think their marriage did have meaning for both of them, I think as fans we don't accept certain things...like for example that probably some stories about Britney are true, it's strange that many people coincidentally say the same thing about you, you continue to make the same mistakes and always talk about the years in which you were abused to "justify" yourself in a certain way. I wish Britney and Sam could get back together, I have this feeling that there are a lot of bad things that were said about him that aren't true. Time will tell if they can talk and resolve their differences, you can say what you want but we all know here that Sam was with Britney in her most difficult moments, supporting her and offering her his company. Neither Britney nor Sam are perfect (nor any of us) we all know that Britney has to deal with some situations like trusting others, the things she says/does and the way she says it... So I hope it's not too late for them, They were having a baby last year and looked good a few days before they broke up, so maybe there's still hope for them.

I believe it was a PR relationship that Team Con wanted and she was stuck in it until it ended after 7 years. I think Britney loved Sam but was not in love with him.

Yes, I think they did. Things obviously have changed around completely, but I genuinely believe that they once cared a lot about their relationship and marriage. Maybe I’m naive to think that, but I can’t imagine putting up with someone for seven (rather turbulent) years and not feel any romantic affection for them.
