Inside Britney Spears’ bitter legal battle with Hollywood A-lister exes over ‘intimate details’ in her book

But Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell won’t be among them after contesting vast swathes of her book.

I’ve learned that Cry Me A River singer Justin and The Batman actor Colin, both romantically linked to Britney in the early Noughties, caused a four- month delay to the publication over tales which were to be included.

Lawyers acting for the pair threatened to sue if Britney didn’t remove intimate details of their clients’ lives.

Justin dated Britney from 1999 to 2002, having met her on the set of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1992.

It was claimed in 2003 that Colin and Britney were dating after they were seen out together but he has denied they were a couple.

A source said: “Lawyers demanded to see her book in advance and were adamant that some of the revelations were removed.

“There are still plenty of gobsmacking tales but Justin and Colin were conscious about what could be said about them.

“The legal process meant the publication was held up by four months as discussions went back and forth about what could be included. But that has finally now been settled and her autobiography is all ready to go.”

Britney returned to the spotlight on Friday with her Will.i.am collaboration Mind Your Business, which is at No35 in the mid-week charts.

I was going to say the same thing as you, he spilled so much tea and aired and humiliated Britney after their break up so she shouldn't be trying to put her under gag order on the writings of him in her iconic book.

Colin knows we will drag him how we did others in framing Britney and demand an apology. Apparently they slept together and he sent her a t-shirt saying “congrats you slept with Colin Farrell” like he gave zero ****s that she was THEE Britney Spears. Justin prob wanted to know what would be said. However, I think he wants her to tell her side cuz she always was stubborn according to him. He clearly never got the proper closure he needed from her so I’m sure he wants to know how she truly felt dealing with the worlds biggest breakup. Jessica is the one that would be pushin for him to sue cuz she knows her best is no match for primeney lol she was the love of his life and will always be the one that got away cuz there’s no energy like hers. Even now brit is still more interesting than her. She’ll Nevuh be ha

Maybe so but I feel like Team Con, K-Fed and her family are the real reason why it took forever for Britney to release her book because they have so much things they want to hide and Britney will probably address them in the book.

 

Colin probably won't care because it was probably a one night stand or hook up. They never actually dated like she did with Justin.

Justin probably will be anxious of what she'll write about him but I don't think it would be to the point of delaying her release especially since he's married now and has a child. 

Like I said, the people I mentioned above have more to worry about and lose if Britney spills details on their shady behavior.

I really think it has nothing to do with the tea she's apparently going to spill but rather she just needed more time and her publisher was like "oh ya um we told everyone the book would be done months ago so let's pretend she's going to reveal WAY TOO MUCH about JT and other people!!" 

I honestly think it's going to be more about what Britney went through on a personal level rather than doing a deep dive on her past relationships, but I still think she should remember the Cry Me a River video and DRAG. HIM.

True plus Britney said she needed therapy to get through this book which is tough talking about her life and sharing what she’s Sharing.
