Most people think it's an innovative great song. We are entitled to our own opinions. Personally, I hope her new album will sound more like this. MYB seems like a good indication of her upcoming 10th album she's working with Will on.

wait. the demo is indeed better. i listen to the demo only. and yes i love HMC and was really happy about its release and cried when it happened.

also, i think the production / overall mix of MYB is better than HMC's

point is many things can be true at the same time.

I'm not disagreeing that the demo is/isn't better. I just think the rewriting history as if there weren't pages and pages and threads of people complaining about HMC and it was some universally well received song that no one had a single complaint about is dumb.

Hi. Music is subjective and you should know that YOUR personal opinion in a song does NOT make it any objective and suddenly make something good or bad. It's either you like it or not. And you not liking both HMC and MYB is totally fine, and I actually agree that her first five albums have a better quality, but concluding a song that it 'sucks' just because you don't like it, doesn't make it any objectively bad. It's just a preference. Just like how we prefer Britney as an artist rather than any other artists in the world. I suggest the you 'be real' and respect other's opinions before labeling a song good or bad and keep your opinions as opinions, not objective facts.
