Be grateful we got anything at all. We never thought we’d get HMC and we certainly didn’t think we were getting this. Britney hates the industry. If anything, this was for the fans. You don’t have to think it’s a masterpiece to simply appreciate she gave us SOMETHING.
 

Let’s not make her feel like nothing she ever does will ever be good enough. That’s how to make someone more reclused and more anxious and even less likely to put herself out there in the future.

The main problem for me is how everyone that hates the song (which is a very strong and not good feeling, let's be real) thinks that whoever likes it it's just not right, period.

It's like... what? A good or a bad song doesn't exist: what's good or bad is relative, everyone has an opinion.

What's NOT RIGHT is negativity and people minimazing other people's taste and experience.

Have we learn nothing from Britney's career/life being so scrutinized and looked down upon?

Enjoy it or just be respectful, not only towards people on internet but towards Britney's choices.

After fighting for basic human rights and being locked in a castle and forced to smile and be pretty for the cameras just to be locked back up and left to your solitude when not feeding the cash flow on stage…. I want an epic album too. This is not an ideal track for me either, but cmon people!  Are we just gonna be nothing but unhappy about everything every single day! Britney gave us new music.  She didn’t have to. It’s charting amazingly well. This is ALL GOOD NEWS.

Nothing she does is good enough? Whatever she has ever done has risen the bar and has been more than good enough hence why people dont like other artists coming it and bringing it down to their low level. Thats what it is, nothing on Britneys actuality. Hmc was brilliant but this is way below Britneys artistry, no matter how much success it might recieve or how many basic listeners might bounce to it. Shark doopara doopara is also hella catchy and popular but Theres a reason why Britney is Britney and this isnt it. Britney releasing music and being grateful etc is a whole another approach and very valid but totally irrelavant to her stellar music standard being f'd with.

Most people unfortunatley feel the same way, although there is a few that are trying to force fans to love the song.

It circles back to people blaming the fans for everything and forcing their narratives, beliefs, opinions and thoughts on others.

There is nothing wrong with people not loving this song.

Fact - 

Britney mentioned she didn't like songs Shes recorded in the past and music videos she's done either.

Britney on her 2007 VMA Performance - FTR - "You're going to have good performances and some not so good performances, not every performance will be good".

Same goes for music and projects, and no one should be forced to like anything they dislike.

The dramatic meltdowns over this song here, while other platforms are living for it make this whole situation even funnier. Are you a bad fan for not liking it? No. Are you a bad fan liking it? Also no. It's, quite literally, just a damn SONG. It's not that deep. Swear some people either forgot who Britney is as an artist, or want her to be something she never will be.

Other fan bases do not deal with the toxic “fans” like we do. It’s crazy how Britney is treated so much different in the music industry and by her own “fans.” She can never win. 
She is healing from trauma. And in the meantime, she released two songs and her book is released in October. Like, when she’s ready to be back on top she will serve. But until then, she’s just having fun and giving fans what they keep asking for.
