i feel like in Mood Ring she has the same tone of voice as in manjobi but sounds VERY better in Mood Ring, i used to hate Mood Ring but now this is one of my favs from Glory

Mood ring is one the highlights on that album for sure! So good :bow_bowing_orange:

Not the Walmart version of Needed Me :deadbanana_pbj_peanut_butter_jelly_time_yellow:

Do you guys actually think this song is good? The vocal layering/mastering is a disaster and has background vocalists singing all over her in all different directions. It was literally left unfinished. Not to mention, how muffled it sounds. There is a reason why it was left as bonus track.

Anyway chile...lemme clean my ears

For me Mood Ring towers miles above MyB. And funny that you say unfinished, because that's exactly what MyB sounds like, the production is too basic and not high quality. I really wanted to like it but I just can't, her vocals are terrible in this.

For me it’s the opposite. Mood Ring’s issue isn’t even the instrumental but rather the poor vocal delivery. She sounds half asleep on the track and the background vocalists are running up and down all over her in the song and even going off-key. Moments around 1:29 of Mood Ring completely ruin the song. It sounds like something from Kidz Bop. This song was literally just a leftover too and wasn’t extensively reworked like with MYB.

You think MyB was extensively reworked? If that was the case then it just highlights how poor the demo was because even touched up it still sounds rather awful. And it's funny that you think her vocals in Mood Ring are poor when she sounds pretty terrible in MyB, like a nasal robot with a glitch. And then the annoying repetitiveness and the silly lyrics. It gives immature and generic, not something you would expect from the 41-year old princess of pop.
