the song is alright especially with a good music video and fingers crossed a performance it will elevate the experience for the GP and for the fans

but its the lack of input and passion from Britney that makes the song worst cause it really just feel like they used her name for promo

She's just not 100% interested in working on new music for the time being and it's fine! Her focus should be her life first and foremost. She'll go back into the studio in time to play, and find the sound she wants

I don’t think she’s doing it to make money, nor do I think she’s passionate about music again. She’s not releasing anything on her own… It’s just random collabs she doesn’t mind and she doesn’t even bother using a new picture lol.

She was honored when Elton approached her so she did a duet out of respect. Same story with Will, except there was already a demo lying around from 10 years ago and we know Myahs involved, so it’s a bit worse.

I thought we already knew this, even before the conservatorship ended. In fact, I think one reason why she wanted out was so that she can stop making music, doing photoshoots/videos/commercials and stop going on tour or a residency and instead travel with her partner by exploring the world which seems to her hobby these days. It doesn’t take a rocket science to know that this is really what she wanted for years. She made her mark, she made her money. She spent her high school and college years becoming the most famous pop star on the planet under a grueling schedule and in return got used by the system. She just want to live her life now and on her own terms. Until fans don’t realize this, it seems like they will always be unsatisfied and/or continue making up conspiracies.

It's kinda messed up to come to this conclusion after she's fought so hard for her own freedom and endured what she has. Does she have trauma? Absolutely. But saying they destroyed her is not giving her enough credit and is essentially saying team con won.
