I can imagine she’s just a fan. She has worked with her on BJ and she recorded the demo, so she might just be excited too. 
I’m sure the single will be Britney’s vocals.

I never saw a backing vocalist promoting a single. I don't get the point of it, especially when you asking to the fans, since years and years to leave you alone, made a post few days ago about now being a mom and only looking for peace... I'm sorry but this is only digging for sh *t! Anyway, I guess that mean she's involved, I just hope not that much. Well' see tonight!

At the very least, she probably still has backgrounds on the song. She did say in that live stream from 2020 that she did a demo for the song “something… business.” 
 

So that’s what I was thinking of. It’s not an all-new song. It’s one they’re revisiting. I guess Britney recorded it at some point.
