i wanna know what his opinions on that project are personally because that album is not great even for his catalog and standards... i don't think he's the best producer in the entire world but i REFUSE to believe he is proud of the work on that album   which is why im holding out hope for myb :3

BJ is so bad, but tbh, Will is probably not entirely to blame. He probably tried to create the best thing possible with what was offered... The project was probably rushed by team con. 

But honestly, I find some of his stuff really fun and catchy and some of his stuff pretty uninspired tbh. 

To me his stuff is basically made for clubs. A beat, some catchy repetitive pop lyrics (and sometimes a rap). It's very copy-paste and let's add a danceable beat to it.
I mean, yeah, Britney songs are also party songs or club songs. But at least it's also something to sing-a-long to as well. I actually never put on Will's song by choice. (unless it's like a pre-party before going out.)

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's his style. 

He probably knows we hate BJ. He should know tbh. It's pretty bad. I think he can do way better. I'm not sure if Will was the right person for a "personal" album. They should have just made a sequel to FF with club bangers then. Or if they wanted a personal album, have Britney write an EP of slower songs. But yeah, you could tell team con to buy an orange and they'll come back with a peach. They were basically clueless dumb little s.h.i.t.s.

I know some people here still try to defend BJ or say they like certain songs. Which is all fine and all. But to me, you can't be serious and say this album is of the same quality as the others. I've said it before and I'll say it again; I rather listen to Soda Pop on a loop 14 times, then listen to the full BJ album. Also, why listen to a back up singer sing lead when we have 8 other fantastic albums with Britney's voice?

I just hope, if Britney will record again, they will NEVER make the same mistake again. Therefor I'm a little anxious about the release of MYB. They wouldn't really release something that bad again after BH's backlash?

@Peter Pan But what about the songs fully or mostly sung by Brit, namely ‘Perfume’, ‘Don’t Cry’, ‘It Should Be Easy’, ‘Now That I Found You’, ‘Tik Tik Boom’, and the songs Britney certainly sang at least half of such as ‘Alien’, ‘Brightest Morning Star’, ‘Hold on Tight’ and ‘Passenger’?

As for ‘Work *****’, ‘Body Ache’, ‘Chillin’ With You’ and ‘Til It’s Gone’, believed by many to be fully or mostly dubbed, you could still stream them so Britney gets more royalties (she co-wrote them all, and that gives Brit more money).

But yeah, I agree the project could have been handled in a better fashion.

I honestly think they should remove Britney Jean from her discography/streaming services. It's insulting to Britney's artistry to have an album she isn't even singing on majority of the time...

 

It's sad because we know neither Will OR Britney would've released this project if they had full control over it, with no interference from the conservatorship people.

THIS THIS! It's a stain on her near flawless discography it's like everything the locals say about how generic and bad her music is in a real album of hers...
