Hey you guys,

Since most of us were alive in the 2000s,

We most likely have seen at least one movie from 3 of the biggest teen actresses from the decade: Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff and Amanda Bynes.

Out of the 3,

who do you think had the best movies and which actress do you think had your least fave movies?

For me if I had to pick I would say Lindsay Lohan would be 1# cause even though I'm a fan of all 3 girls because all her movies are the most ICONIC and memorable!

I mean hello Mean Girls and Freaky Friday are still remembered almost 2 decades later for a reason!

I'd then say Amanda is 2nd place cause she was so funny back in the day especially in She's The Man. I wish she made more movies.

Then I'd put Hilary Duff last even though she was my fave out of the 3 back in the day.

I feel now looking back at her movies as an adult, she was always playing the same girl next door role and never took any chances with different types of roles. Idk if its cause of limited acting skills or she played it safe but Lindsay and Amanda for sure beat her.

Btw I don't hate Hilary Duff's movies,

The Lizzie Mcguire Movie and A Cinderella Story are still my fave childhood movies to this day.

Anyways who do you guys think had the best movies?

@princessmimi Hilary played against type in a few movies, mostly indie films, which she actually did quite a few of. One was called 'What Goes Up.' Her acting though was the weakest of the 3.

I'd say Lindsay would come out on top with 'The Parent Trap,' 'Mean Girls,' and 'Freaky Friday.'

My favorite acting from these 3, hands down, would be Amanda, particularly with 'She's The Man.' She's a comedic beast. A great shame about her personal issues.

I know, right?

Did u know Amanda said she got depressed and had so much body dysmorphia cause of how she looked as a boy in She's The Man that she decided to quit acting afterwards?

For me, Amanda Bynes. She is a comedic genius.

Lindsay Lohan is also an incredible actress but none of her films clicked for me except for ‘Mean Girls’.

IMO, Hilary is the weakest actress despite having the most polished image of the three.

When I saw a bit of Hilary's TV show 'Younger' I could tell her acting had improved a lot since she started. As a child she was not very good; she was lucky as a child because she was charismatic, likable, and was decent with physical comedy even if her acting overall was lacking. So I give her credit for working to improve. Amanda and Lindsay remain better though.

Hilary was also extremely fortunate that her mother was so protective of her well-being, which is maybe the main reason she never went off the rails.

wow, i had no idea. you would think studios would have therapist or life coaches when a child actor goes through a role like that… then again they probably didn’t think it was so serious at the time… actually i don’t even think she was technically a child actor at that time. i may be wrong

I think Amanda has been through alot probably almost as much or if not more than even Lindsay.

I loved Amanda as a kid, her nickelodeon show was and STILL is hilarious!

I also loved her more serious role in What A Girl Wants.

That movie is beautiful.

Same!

She seemed to be doing well for a while but then she got that horrible face tattoo and spiraled down fast.

It made me sad when I heard about her being hospitalized again earlier this year.

It truly breaks my heart that she's still struggling.

Yeah I have yet to see teen actresses as charming and talented as these girls were.

The 2000s was the last decade of great pop culture in my opinion.

Things kinda went downhill once the 2010s came around.

sadly it’s hard to get better mentally, especially when people struggle so much. i just hope she is doing better and has a good support system despite every thing. i know amanda turned into a meme for her struggles but i understand the brain can feel like a prison or just chaos. i don’t make fun of any one who struggle in that way… but ya definitely pop culture isn’t what it used to be 🥺

No one's mentioned this yet: I'll give Amanda props for being the only one of the 3 to appear in a musical. 'Hairspray' was fantastic! Amanda did brilliantly with the role. I've nothing against Ariana, but she played that role in Hairspray Live, and she didn't have the comedic chops.

Same.

She didnt deserve to be in a conservatorship like Britney.

Good thing is at least her parents let her out of it unlike Britney's.

That proves she had better parents.

I hope she does come back eventually to acting cause she was so naturally funny and talented.

Oh yeah I forgot about that!
She actually didn't have that bad of a voice, she could carry a tune.

Btw have you seen her movie Sydney White?

I feel like that movie is constantly forgotten or overlooked compared to her other movies.

Its really good and its based off of Snow White.
