IF Britney became serious about her career again

How would you advise Britney?

What advice would you give her to get her to the absolute top? Beating out her competition.

Britney has talent, and lots of it. However the industry has completely changed. She would have a successful comeback sure, but what would she need to do to get to the top of the pyramid.

Nowadays she has competition like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendez, Ariana.

Discuss!!

I would advise her to follow her heart, dance to her own hearts content, give No Fuxx about what anyone else wants. I hope she’d give it her all, and be that bad a ss bit ch we know she is!
I’d tell her to not even care what her fans want, cuz This Is Her Time! There really is no competition, it’s her business, she owns that top spot..  :shocked_what_xfactor_britney_pink_surprised_wow:  :neydedance_purple:   :brityes_britney_yes_nodding:

Run as fast as you can from that dusty RCA label. :messbye_britney_pink_leave_walking_running_bye_goodbye_away:

I do actually agree with you.

RCA ruined the momentum she had with Femme Fatale and they didn’t promote BJ and Glory enough nor did they produce more than 2 singles.

They are one of the biggest reasons why she’s flopped so hard in her career within the past decade.

I would encourage her to rediscover songwriting and instrument playing again! She has so much potential to grow as an artist and I want her to feel confident in that suit. For her to channel all her anger, frustration and neglect into a feminist-driven album. She has the resources and so much potential. :bouncey:

Y’all need to give it up… Glory was her last chance. She won’t - and I don’t think she wants to - be at the top anymore. It sounds exhausting and sis needs to kick back. She earned her flowers.

I would tell her to quit smoking. And get serious vocal lessons. Let everything be about her talent only.

I would encourage her to write more. And set goals for what she wants in her career, and go and get it.

Then obviously she needs a fantastic marketing team etc.

This! I could see her doing a piano-driven album, akin to Tori Amos. Going from the biggest pop star in the world to a stripped back singer-songwriter would be an interesting dichotomy.

Whatever she does, or doesn't do, I want her to be happy doing it.

Yes yes yes. All of this!

I honestly think her only shot at getting to the top of the pyramide is to go against everything she wants to do. Like, she would have to go back to her roots. I think she could be very successful going back to the sound she is known for with the «bay-bah» way of singing. Not in the long run but a big old-school Britney banger would smash now. But she is not her anymore and nor does she want to be, and that’s ok. Would be cool to see though. Rehearse for months, come back with a proper dance video + performances for one last time. In a «I still got it, I always will, I just haven’t felt like it in a while» kind of way.

It's all about artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, wallowing in sadness and exploiting their broken hearts for TikTok. And don't even get me started on those dull and unimaginative instrumentals they use. Songs about s** seem to be too controversial to sell that well. It's like the industry has lost its edge and settled for mediocrity

1. Leave RCA and go to Beyoncé’s label

2. Get a fresh marketing team that does great visual design, stream deals, radio deals and promotion

3. Record an album with fresh producers and go for a sounds that changes pop music like Blackout did

4. Book the Superbowl for a solo performance and rehearse 6 months till you dream the steps

5. Release the first single and video two weeks before the Superbowl

6. Drop the album and stadium world tour announcement right after the Super Bowl along with the video for the second single

7. Tour for a year and feel the love and excitement of the people again and see amazing places outside the US

8. Retire or take as much time off as you want

I definitely agree that music was better pre-2010, but all people eventually say that when they get old haha. s** has always sold. Remember how big WAP was?

I personally disagree with people saying Britney cannot be on top again. She might not be on top alone because there are so many big stars now, but she can be on top again. People love great shows and dancing and that’s what Britney is famous for. With a good choreographer and her own creativity they could create magic. Tiktok dance challenges for the public could work as a marketing campaign. Britney could sing about so many topics that people can relate to, not only about partying and s**. It could be about being silenced, about pain, about motherhood, about trying to be perfect, about false friends… she could really touch people. Also with hard hitting songs where she is showing how strong she is. Britney is so versatile. I am working as a marketing manger and couldn’t think of anyone better to be creative with. There are so many ideas in my head and I cannot even think about what would happen if Britney and me could explore new ideas together. She is the holy grail for someone who wants to get creative. Let her rest, gather energy, become creative and give her the right team and this girl will rock the world and be on top with other artist besides her. Never underestimate her. I don’t think it will happen yet, but maybe she will feel the adrenaline again and come back with a bang. I am ready to be a part of it!

First of all, nowadays, to have a successful song, you don't need to perform or give an interview. Just add the song to the biggest Spotify/Apple Music playlists.

Britney needs to leave RCA and go to a decent label. She needs a REALLY GOOD manager and a decent team to take care of her work.

After that, talking about music, she has to bring really good songs, well produced and with good lyrics that match her life. I don't want to see Britney just releasing s** songs or songs about going out dancing at parties. This no longer matches the reality in which she lives. Britney has plenty of baggage to make really personal music. Happy or sad songs. That way people could identify more with her.

Also, she needs to train vocals. She has an iconic and good voice, I hope she stops using that nasal/baby voice and uses more of the vocal power she has.
