No. I really want to like him but I just find that his art is a little too low brow for my taste. He uses too much cgi in his videos and it always looks cheap and fake to me. I honestly wish he was more of a gay icon that was actually changing the landscape but im just constantly underwhelmed.

I like him but I feel like he tries too hard for shock value to point it’s not shocking as much as it’s annoying

I like him. I don’t really listen to his music but I’ll keep the song on if it comes on the radio. I think he makes interesting content. His music videos are never boring and he tries to make his award show performances special. Most men and some women entertainers don’t do that. I like that he pushes fashion. I don’t always like his costumes/looks but he tries something different, and I respect that. Honestly if he was a woman doing what he’s doing, I think most people would say he’s “slaying”, “ate and left no crumbs”, ect… 

There’s a disconnect between gay men and liking him and I don’t know why? I see a lot of gay men not liking him in various comment sections but it’s kind of funny, because when you have “straight” men who gender bend/ gay bait, like Harry Styles and Bad Bunny, they’re accepted.

I hated Old Town Road  and didn't get into his music until Industry Baby. I went back, heard Montero, and loved it too. His latest album is good.

I like him for pushing the boundaries for the general public to learn about gender expression. To me he’s more of an icon than a musician.
