Why? When you are 18+, your secondary ***ual characteristics have developed. An MFT will have a deep voice, the bone structure of a man etc. It will ruin her life quality permanently. And besides, bottom surgery can be performed after 18 but at least holding off puberty with puberty-delaying medication is essential. Nobody has it taken away. Nobody is forced to have any form of s** correction procedure. Also, trans people can take hormones up until 18 and have bottom surgery after 18. However, waiting until after puberty to take the correct hormones is devastating and worse than any other possible consequence. You don't get it.

Waiting until after puberty has the worst consequences. Imagine if you were forced to take the wrong hormones and saw your body change the wrong way and then to be forced to be seen as the wrong s** for the rest of your life. Have you taken that into account? Waiting until after puberty destroys lives.

if you put it in those terms, doing it at any point is technically "chemical castration." But here's the part you're missing, chemical castration is not a voluntary act, it is a punishment against pedophiles who have actively committed ***ual atrocities against minors. 

So, chemical castration = involuntary punishment

Gender change = a voluntary act with the goal to change one's gender.

I think people need to first get educated REALLY WELL, before diving into these topics.

I think there isn't any point in even trying to reason with this person. They outed themselves as a transphobe by saying transgender people are mentally ill.

Your brain doesn't finish developing until you are 25. Making a permanent life changing choice like chemically castrating yourself at 13 should not be allowed. You can not concent at that age.

"Looking like a woman" is a very gender binary way of viewing things. It's so weird how the same people who talk about gender fluidity keep pushing these VERY binary stereotypes

How can you guarantee me that its 1000 times bigger? do you have evidence, or is it just your gut feeling? this is childrens lives we are talking about, we cant go with gut feelings. Even progressive countries that supported trans issues are now changing and taking back their medical requirements in trans children. You supporting this will lead to more detransition in the future, which will validate republicans arguemnts.

Ok and if you take puberty blockers your ***** will not develope and you will be stuck with a mini peenis that is too small to turn into a *******. So you will be stuck with medical issues for the rest of your life like Jazz Jennings or a baby *****. 

Puberty blockers also mess with your bone density and castrate you. For what? So you can maybe be a prettier girl?
