SUMMER BODY — are u ready?

SUMMER is coming,

are you working out? 

tell me your routine.

So yeah i’m working out. I have tennis classes mondays and wednesdays, it’s basically my cardio bc I hate cardio.

the rest of the days I go to the gym, I do like 10 or 20 minutes of elliptical 

I’m taking collagen supplements, whey protein, chromo and moro and I’m waiting for apple vinegar and green tea pills,

seriously I’m already tired I crave burgers, milkshakes and coke, it’s super weird so that’s why all those pills help me with loose weight, I’m not really fat my body is like the male version of Britney’s body, I cave beautiful calves and legs, my tummy is not flaccid but there’s a little bit of fat there and that sucks. On top of that I have insomnia and sleep good is the best to stay in shape.

So yeah i’m working on it to have a cool body for the summer, my *** is already yummy tho

How do you like Tennis classes? I can motivate myself to go running for weeks at a time before I drop off. I feel like taking a class would help me be more consistent. 

I'm not into supplements. I just don't think it's worth it. I try to do hearty salads with quinoa or something filling in them. 

EDIT: Although, one supplement I will take is melatonin when I struggle with sleep (although I don't take it daily). Have you tried that to help with your insomnia?

Have you tried a high-protein diet to get rid of your specific cravings? I eat so much protein in a day that I haven't really craved a specific food for a long time.  

I do full-body workouts every day. Lifting heavy with progressive overload. No cardio, aside from brief incline walking.  This is the first time in my life where I feel okay about my body.  I haven't gained/lost weight in years, but my body has become much more muscular.

I take creatine and some multivitamins. Not sure if adding something else would help, but I'm happy with the progress I've made.  Melatonin is great! if you're struggling to sleep!

Actually not, my routine is working in my job and then laying in my bed 🙈

I have issues with my neck and back and my fiancé has a prosthetic leg, so we both find swimming quite therapeutic, and not too straining. We’d swim in the open water for at least an hour a day when we were travelling.

In 2021 we bought a swim spa so we could swim at any time, which is so lovely to be able to do, and it’s also great for lounging and drinking wine in, and thus* undoing all of the exercise. Fail. :clown_meme__makeup_green:

So I stopped going to the gym after my gym scammed me during the pandemic BUT I joined a gym a little over a month ago and u can already tell a difference. It's like I spent 3 years bulking. It has been so much easier getting muscle built now after taking such a long break. I feel like my body type has changed in the past 5 years too. I'm noooot a twink....not yeeet a daaaddy

You should try tennis,

it's so cool, it's outdoor, there's this small circle

it's fun

if you don't know much it could be a little bit frustrating in the beginning, but don't give up, you will love it after awhile!
