2010 Article Reveals Britney's Psych Ward Stay Threat + Corroborates Britney's 2021 Testimony

Britney Spears has been so unstable recently that her father warns he’ll have her committed to a mental ward again if she continues to explode out of control.

In a frightening display of tantrums and cries for help, the deeply troubled singer has been pulling out her hair in clumps, throwing screaming fits – and worse, say sources. In a grim flashback to her public meltdown in 2007, she even threatened to kill herself while arguing with her father Jamie. "Her dad’s reaction was clear – keep it up and she’ll end up back in a mental ward," revealed a source close to Britney’s family.

Brit has been seriously depressed since finding out her father has no intention of letting go of the legal conservatorship he holds over her business and personal life for the next three years. By then, Britney will be 31, and her father estimates her estate will be worth $1 billion from album and concert sales. Only then would she be free to make her own decisions.

Meanwhile, Jamie Spears has his **** daughter booked for as many tours and albums as her management can land. "Britney had her hopes up because her dad told her if she was good and did an Australian concert tour, which ended on Nov. 29, he would free her before Christmas," revealed the close source. "But when the court extended the conservatorship before Christmas, it shattered Britney. She was thrown for a loop."

Britney believes it was her father’s plan all along to keep her under his control until she was worth a billion dollars – securing both his and her financial future. "Britney felt betrayed by her father," disclosed the insider.

"At first Jamie kept his distance… But her anger boiled over, and they had a huge fight. "Britney screamed at Jamie that he was making her crazy and that she didn’t know what she would do to herself if she had to continue to be a prisoner for three more years.

"It seemed clear she was talking about attempting suicide. "Jamie took her words as a serious threat and shot back: If she was thinking of hurting herself, he would get her to see a doctor immediately and she would find herself back in a psych ward! "The fight left Britney afraid that being committed to a hospital was a real possibility." Believing she was robbed of her freedom and mad at the world, Britney checked into the Mondrian hotel in West Hollywood, where she stayed for more than a week. "Britney had several meltdowns where she literally pulled out her hair, cut her hair and then called someone to put more hair extensions in only to pull or cut it all out again." Her mom Lynne desperately attempted to pull the singer out of her funk. "Lynne helped Britney find a therapist who visited her at the hotel," revealed the source.  "The therapist also treated her by phone."

Legit. The pervading narrative framed it like she was an irrational mess. NOT that being a prisoner in her own life is what had her feeling and acting so disturbed.
The fact that any of this was allowed to go on for so long is the only real insanity.

Her strength is incredible! That she isn’t/wasn’t completely broken is just beyond. Queen.

I said the same thing regarding the source lol but yeah it all adds up. This actually isn’t my first time I’ve read articles from the 2000s that vividly explain the horrors of Britney’s situation but it’s painted as she’s crazy. 
 

actually there was a page on Britney’s website dedicated to dispelling all of these articles with sources speaking out for britney (I wonder who those people were). Cassie petray was the primary author of these post…

After reading this, I think she's actually very sane. Most people would completely lose it if they were robbed of their freedom that way for 13 years AND by their own family !!! This article is defining human trafficking at its finest. That sheet is dangerous.

Another crazy thing is it seems Britney was constantly promised the con would end after she finished a tour. It’s sounds like they tried the same thing with her after pom ended and dom started. Also If you remember the con had to be in place for the residency to take place, so it couldn’t even end until pom ended. So crazy how convoluted this all was.

Yes they literally destroyed her with copious amounts of meds in the later half of 2010 because she was so depressed being stuck in the conservatorship and was allegedly in an abusive relationship with Jason.
