Taylor Swift takes inspiration from Britney Spears for her Eras World Tour?

Taylor Swift just finished her first show of her Era’s World Tour and I couldn’t help but notice that she took inspiration from the legendary Britney Spears 
 

First thing I noticed was that she took inspiration from Britney’s Grammy performance.

 

Taylor appeared onstage for the first time with these same styled props that Britney had in this photo. Taylor made her big reveal as they were lifted off her. Very similar to Britney being covered/hidden with them for her Grammy performance. 

I also noticed that she has a moment on the box screen that has different versions of herself in different coloured costumes and it reminded me of the moment where Britney is dancing with herself on screen during her Dream Within A Dream Tour. 

Do you think Taylor can also be added to the list along side Beyoncè for taking inspiration from our Queen for their tours this year?

I honestly haven’t seen anyone use those type of props since Britney did in 1999
