theyre probably not. and this might be Paris' way of saying "i dont know her that well" without actually saying that. I think a lot of celebrities know more but just cant/wont say more for whatever reason. the conservatorship has been over for over a  year now.. and youd think youd have more information available by people already... but nope.. everyone is tippy toeing

I'm failing to see how this means they're not close? Paris recognises Britney's been through hell and back, and instead of remind her of that, she tries to have fun with her.

 

Surely that speaks more to their friendship than constantly reminding her she's had it hard?

Because Paris said "so I only like to talk about happy things with her, fun things, clothes and music and puppies.' Do you only speak with your close friends about puppies and clothes? Close friends speak about everything. the good and the bad.

I feel that Paris is so fake about Britney. For some unknown reason she tries to use Britney's name. She lied about Britney being at a party with her. Then Brit came back with receipts.

You've mixed up events. Paris never said Britney was at a party. Paris shared a collection of photos of her, Cade and others, Britney included, for Cade's Birthday. Later that day, TMZ shared a story that Cade had a Birthday event with a-list celebrities, and they homed in on Britney going, and shared an unseen selfie of Britney.

 

Britney responded to the TMZ post.

Well, I think there aren't many females in here but we girls just don't talk about sad things all the time which has happened with us we also are fun and talk fun stuff. Fail to understand why people are saying they aren't close? They seem to talk lighter stuff it does makes sense for Britney as well.

no one is saying they have to talk about britney's trauma 24/7 in order to be close friends. they don't have to talk about it at all! but, i am a woman and i only talk about "fun happy things like clothes and puppies" with people i don't trust/aren't that close with. britney even said in her testimony she didn't believe paris when she came forward with her own abuse. if they were such close friends, why wouldn't britney believe her? i truly do not believe they are close friends, and that's ok! not every friend needs to be your bestie. paris is the one that is always forcing their friendship on the public and making it seem like it's more than what it is.

I dont believe Britney is the first one either to call paris up and ask her about everything stupid thing Paris has been through. Britney is not the only one with crap experience. Im sure Paris also just wants to be normal around her friends so I bet its mutual..

But with that said, I dont like Paris. Or yes, I like HER as Paris Hilton, she is remarkable. But I dont believe she is really friends with britney, I dont believe they are close, and they never were. Not even in 2006..

I really don’t think Paris is a nice person. She’d be fun to hang out with, but if I were Britney I wouldn’t go to her with anything more than surface level **** about clothes and makeup either. She strikes me as someone that would ruin your life because she’s bored.
