Why do you think Britney Spears has only received one Grammy out of all her iconic hits?

She has so many amazing hits. Her career is top tier. She is simply one of the greatest performers of all time

What is going awn with her and the Grammys? The math isn’t mathing 

 

I don’t even believe she has been nominated very much. This is unacceptable

Because Britney came out during a time when pop was more taboo and before poptimism became a trend. It isn't rocket science. The fact that she has 8 Grammy nominations overall is actually pretty good and at least she has a win unlike some of her contemporaries such as JLo or Katy.

I don't know how she didn't win more earlier in her career, although she did have a few nominations. In the latter part of her career nothing was really Grammy worthy...and the Grammy's isn't going to promote someone who can literally go and entire tour and not sing a word live...

First of all, some of you are completely delusional when it comes to Beyoncé just for a start 

but I don’t really know why Britney doesn’t have more, I think as someone else said it’s probably to do with how she’s the one who paved the way for music like that when people were still uncomfortable with it

i think it's something similar to what happened to leonardo dicaprio and the oscars. both were seen as "just a pretty face"/too mainstream and not edgy or artsy enough. but in the end (in both cases) talent pulled through and our girl got the grammy she deserved for one of her best songs to this day.
