“Britney Spears plans to record a country album”

I’m watching Big Brother Season 10 episode 13 at 30:30 and one girl had to guess if this was a current news event or not (they are away from the outside world for two months). She said it was true and caused the house to have to eat Slop for a day

I actually remember thinking she might grow up and go country back when her only album out was ....Baby One More Time. Her personality was distinctly southern back then and something about her vocals in "Thinkin About You" (particularly the "each day that spend around you.... parts) made my young mind think "country". 

Now I want a country remix of "Thinkin About You"

I would totally see Britney go Country-Dark-Pop! Something like “Gasoline” meets “He About To Lose Me”, a little bit pitched down!

I’m surprised she hasn’t dabbled in it a bit. Jessica Simpson’s Do You Know is an excellent country pop release. I’d love to hear anything like that or something kinda folksy from Britney.

That could really be cool especially cuz she’s a Louisiana girl and had such a strong accent. She’s got the roots and the accent and the pizazz. It would be really cool and interesting to see her tackle country. Honestly, I’m here for it!
