Janelle Monae is better as an actress...do you agree?

Janelle Monae really surprised me in Glass Onion. Have you seen it? I love her as an actress. Her music never really did anything for me. Is she a future screen legend?

I hope she continues to act because she is excellent at it. But The ArchAndroid is one of the greatest albums of all time. Her whole discography has no misses. I’m particularly partial to the Metropolis series.

In short, she’s a unique talent in music, too, and she best keep singing!

I just cannot get into her style of music

 IDK. It feels very sanitized and not very soulful IMO.

I mean, to each their own I guess! I just can’t imagine listening to The ArchAndroid and not being mindblown

"Dirty Computer" was such a great album of hers that I was obsessed with back in 2018.

Maybe the GP sees her as an actress more since she does have a couple of nice films.
