This is such a good move but I hope Paris and her friends can still comment? Paris supports so many of Brit's IG posts and everytime I see it I go back in time to 2006-2008

Yessss!!!! I shuddered to think of Britney reading over the comments especially from the new antiBritney army that’s been forming on IG. I hope she keeps it that way! Sam turned off his recent comments a few weeks ago so I was hoping Britney would follow suit soon.

I wish she would delete all her posts and start fresh. Disabled ig comments is the first step, but it won't stop the negativities from the public since she kinda brought it herself. 

Show the public the confident, healthy, happy smiling Britney. START FRESH!

It'd be best for her mental health and image if she deleted the whole account and started over on a burner without any trace of her real name on it.

She has every right to be herself and enjoy social media after being controlled for so many years, but the **** she's posting has pretty much ruined public perception of her. Her legacy is tarnished by the nonsensical things she posts.

No, lots of celebs do that when they want to prevent negative comments, usually over something specific.
