I'm just too skinny and grew up all my childhood / teenage years wearing jeans that looked twice my size, so when skinny jeans became trendy I was like YAS   now they're very hard to find again so I'll either put on some weight or hold on to my old skinny jeans for 10 more years lol

I think skinny jeans are nice and can certainly look good! I just detested the oversaturation of that style in the market because it took up spaces for other nice styles to be in the shelves as well
