It was so big because it was Britneys debut to the LA party scene which was dominated by Paris and Lindsay

Some nights before those two had a feud. Lindsay told some paparazzi that she was hit by Paris out of nowhere in a party. And there is the infamous Paris is a C video incident. Both shared the same PR, so is no surprise that is happened. At the end of the night while they get back the car, some papz ask Lindsay about the fight between them and she denied everything. 

Britney being this big popstar just added more into the drama. I remember there were big rumors of Paris not being nice to Britney and talking behind her back and using her for fame, exposure and shame her. But yet they still are some kind of friends, while she seem to kind of shade Lindsay when she made that quiz on her website about what Blackout should be called. 

It was a completely different world that is today.

Wasn't this the same night that Britney flashed her ***** to the world via 100 paparazzi cameras, getting in/out of Paris' Mercedes?
