Latin America has great musicians that are respected around the world. From composers to excellent vocalists that cross generations.

More than that, there are artists who risked their lives for a message of progress and freedom in times of repression sponsored even by the United States of America, some were tortured, others persecuted others killed, having not only a cultural impact but a social impact such as Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Ney Matogrosso, Elis Regina, Mercedes Sosa, and the list is long.

In contemporary times artists such as Céu, Liniker, Marina Sena, Silva, Mon Laferte, and many others, including drag queens, rock bands, and a multitude of other rhythms.

Don't be frivolous in talking about something you clearly don't know.
