Thanks to her first Grammy nomination in the audio book category, acclaimed actress Viola Davis is one award shy to have EGOT status which is the acronym of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. She won an Emmy in 2015 for her portrayal of Annelise Keating in the ABC How To Get Away With ******, won a Tony in the Best Actress for Fences in 2010 which she also won a Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars 2017.

She didn’t win the Oscar for Doubt but was nominated.    I love viola! She’s one of the most talented actresses around. I hope she gets her EGOT!  She deserves it!
