Mathew Rosengart files a motion for sanctions of $20,000 against Jamie Spears and wants him held in contempt of court for trying to unseal Britney's medical records

Recommended Posts

I'm seeing a few accounts here sharing the opinion that $20K isn't a lot in comparison to alleged amounts taken by Team Conservatorship, but the context of this is more important than it would appear...

This is one of two sets of sanctions that Rosengart is calling for, the other being a $10k for withholding court ordered information relating to the deposition, that's potentially $30K in disciplinary court penalties. Rosengart knows the judge will dismiss anything too large, but he also knows that the Judge cannot let this slip; it effectively tarnishes her court that someone can attempt to pull the wool over her eyes, but let's keep in mind what this could mean for Team Jamie...

Jamie Spears wants Britney to pay for his legal fees on the basis that he will ended up bankrupt without payment from Britney, so much so that he wouldn't be able to pay his own legal team, and yet he has filed endless petitions and objections to stall; a move you make on the basis that you can afford it, particularly when it's in context of a legal battle that is ongoing; either Jamie has no money OR he does....

If Jamie has the money to pay the penalty, he doesn't need Britney's support because he brought this onto himself. If Jamie has no money, he will have to prove he cannot pay to reach an arrangement with the courts, which will bring into question his finances I.e who is paying for Jamie Spears? If he truly has no money, he will (or atleast, should) drop endless objections and filings, and this should speed up the process.

Jamie Spears own Legal Counsel have stated in recent court documents that the conservatorship was never about Britney's health. So no, sweetie, we're definitely past this.

Britney had lost all her money before the conservatorship. When the conservatorship started, she had less than 3 millions of dollars which was the money she earned for Blackout era.
She had lost the right to see her children. She was in bad hands and totally lost.
Without the conservatorship, she would be dead in poverty probably.
The conservatorship was a good thing at the start. Now the question is, why does it last so long ?

Remember the ceremony where someone made fun of Britney and Jamie Lynn left the ceremony ? She was supporting her sister at this time.
Same with Bryan when he was visiting Britney with Lexie each time Britney was alone without her kids at home. Bryan was supportive. Nobody abandoned her. They were always here for her.

Have you ever heard Britney complaining about camera at her home or about her family stealing her money ? No. She always complains about cafe and the place she has been sent to. When you have been treat like a princess during 13 years, of course i understand it's hard to feel abandon and alone in that strange place. But i don't believe her about the reason why she has been sent there. I saw her at a M&G. She was not ok at all. She was the strangest person i ever seen in my life. I'm sure she has a big medical problem. Otherwise why hiding the medical records ? Just look her instagram, she seems disabled.

You really don’t know ****. Do you ever inform yourself before speaking? Britney had 3 million in cash. Her whole fortune was in a trust she made in 2004.

Every other thing that you mentioned are just bull****. Everyone knows that her whole situation before 2007 was planed and then become media propaganda. Britney was a mess? Indeed. But not remotely how it’s portrayed.

Britney nowadays talks about things that HURT her and her spirit. People stealing is the last thing.

Did you witness a s** trafficked person? I think you description makes total sense of somebody in that situation.

EXCELLENT analysis!

the part that’s most interesting IMO is that Rosengart is requesting to hold Jamie and Alex Weingarten in contempt!!!

if Judge P does the right thing, this could mean Jamie AND Alex Weingarten are sent to jail IMMEDIATELY.

I dare to dream of justice.

But the beauty is that Judge P looks bad if she does NOT hold them in contempt. That would be like her condoning a breach of federal medical privacy laws.

I’m super duper hopeful she holds them in contempt and their a$ses are sent to jail. They deserve to rot.

and defying her own order! if she doesn't do something she's showing she doesn't even care if they disobey her!
