music "crudo" album turns 4 years! The era that started it all

November 2018, I was ready to take over the underground music scene, so I went for the very first time to a recording studio and give voice to some lyrics and music. I've been playing and recording raw demos in my house before that time, but I took the big step and went in.

 

"crudo" is my first album, it was full of dreams to come true and energy to be heard. it had a bunch of official videos.

1st official single (my BOMT) was "Turbio"

 

2nd was "Meliflua"

 

3rd was "Un Nuevo Habito", with a homage video to my grandma (RIP ♥)

4rd was "Ra" (****)

5th was "Madrugada Índica"

6th was "Don't Take Me For Granted"

and last but not least was "Bow Down" a queer Anthem

Okay, here I am with notes and since listening all of your music has taken me more time than had been expected, I'll comment on each album individually 

I see that I started with the last but one of yours "rePUTAción"

• rePUTAción → has a great beat, I love it, adore it, enjoy it, I want to get naked and swim in those beat's sound waves, great opener of an album at the level of Gimme More, an absolute bop 
• Marica → dance smash hit, love it 
• Pasó Otra Vez → nothing groundbreaking imho, yet is like a nice pop song, those little oops like from Clumsy 
• Hey Wacho → the very beginning, that one sound there for some reason evoke a thought of a demon eating and making noises, dunno why  otherwise, to me it was like a regular song
• Qué Clase De Droga → I guess it's a song about drugs but I dunno because I do not understand spanish. Nice pop song  Like the vibe, like in Te Amo, I mean, that guitar sound is the vibe, guess meaning of both songs is different 
• No Me Dejes Caer → love it, very dance -ish, the beat is great as well and I absolutely dig that deep background sound in this one. That has put this track like into another dimension. Great one. 
• The Witch In Me → This title says it all  the beginning sounds like something that would be played while summoning demons then that witch laugh and do not make me start about that sound of yours after the first chorus (after "I'm taking control of you" line)  Also, that Sit down! of yours almost made me respond "I'm sat" as in that popular TikTok 
• Modus Operandi → nice, joyful pop hit, also that "you ******* *****"  
• Cancherro De Cabotaje → your Aura moment and that Roman Holiday rapping 
• Juegos Mentales → for some an obvious reason, its title evokes thoughts of Let Get It ******** by BEP
• Ser Feliz → nice funky song (that's what I thought at the beginning), nice not funky song (it's what I thought after listening further) 
• Todes Estamos En Una → what a great ending! A bop!

Since I do not Spotify, I listened on YouTube and this was the full playlist, so I'll listen rest of the songs from a deluxe (probably) version of your album individually.

Algo Pa' Recordar

• Shattered Heart → Ok, nice bop, has that cool "omnipresent" house beat; when singing in a lower tone, it's hot unlike singing in that higher tone, I am not fond of that in this song. In generall, good song to play when the party has been on for some time, like after three shot or a bottle of vodka, I can see shaking my royal highborn asset to it!  
• Love Is Not In The Air → Catchy yet not original beat. It has a tropical sound and a house beat mixed greatly tho. Do not like vocals in this one. I feel like singing this in a lower tone would make the song in whole more hot. Straightly like from Blackout or something like that.
• Hoy Toca → It evokes memories I have attached to this song called One Dance by Drake, Wizkid and Kyla; nice one; love your pony tail in a music video  you look like that little girl from Despicable Me! 
• Ser De Luz → I guess this is a very personal song (judging by the videoclip)

• Bow Down/Liberación Es/Manifiesto → To put it simply, I am just not fond of these songs, they are too chaotic to me. Dunno why. Mostly the last song is chaotic to me. That beat and fast rapping and ***** everywhere is no clicking for me.

• Manifesto → Ok, so this is original Manifesto song? Kay, the trap beat is good, as for what I understand in English, what is written above applies. Fake *** *****es wanna come at me? is what is playing in my head rn.  I am clown. Not me singing this all over again and again.  Feeling so much anger / hate / not positive feeling directed at someone and I am not fond of it. That's all.

• Entre Nubes Con Los Pies En La Tierra → Nice pop song. Good for just chilling somewhere w mates, not caring about anything not anyone. Can see myself and my friends just chilling somewhere near to a pool or a pond in summer playing this and having a BBC, watching the sun set. Pretty chilly song. 

• Lo Hiciste Otra Vez / Sol En Gémini → What a nice surprise!  Although I am not fond of your vocals on this one, it's nice pop effort. 

• Last Song I'm Waisting On You → Not it for me. Mix of chaotic beat with those vocals do not do it for me except that like "universe" sound (starting from 2:04 or 2:05, that is how I feel it sounds deep in the universe thus the "universe sound").

• Qué Busco (Crónicas Extrañas) → Wow, that whispering at the beginning makes me feel things.  That beat is nothing groundbreaking but with that whispering, this song would definietly found it's my place in my hot songs playlist.

• Gold → An absolute top of this album! 

I played this from your playlist on your YTB channel so order of the songs is different compared to the one in your Spotify playlist. It's not that 'm dumb and skipping songs or something.  Anyway, it's a solid 7.

Thank you so much! Algo Pa Recordar is a mix of old demos, remastered + some new songs, that's why this project is the least cohesive from me.. imo. There were a couple of songs that weren't on that playlist BUT I appreciate you've watched some official videos as well! Ser De Luz is dedicated to my grandma, who passed away in 2020 and she was so so important to me.

GEMINI 

Sol El Géminis → that faster part is actually great (probably a pre-chorus) , however, rest of it is an average pop song aaaaaand you seem to be trying so hard to be a god / goddesss / divine being in that videoclip. 

Bien Orgullosas → Good track! Love that "rapping" part.  Video is ok.  

Baja Sábanas → Ok nice inda lo-fi song; ok, vocals are kinda disturbing compared to the instumentall background. That very colourful part of the video resembles stonned Miley's videos where she showed cooch and it was kida off imho. It was kinda all over the place for me. B&W part are ok. 

Thirsty → straight up softcore p o r n.  And the music screams pain or something. It's like Gaga said her pain exploded in EDM on ARTPOP, I feel something similar here in this song. Like it's not from your heart, it scream obstacle in a flow. Do I make sense here?

Esa Perra → Your Unholy moment.  To me, it's another witch summoning track. Not really rhyming and too disturbing music. Something like ancient ritual music. 

Lo Hiciste Otra Ver → Nice, joyful beginning , however, your vocals are not it. It sounds like you do not sing with your full voice. 

Qeer Powa → whoa, what is that video?  k daddy, show off your body. Where's your OF?  k, another self-esteem anthem... ok song, the end resembles something Nicki did on Barbie Dreams when she had a beat and ate it and then there is that fast rapping at the end - this is the same in your song. Your Nicki moment. Otherwise, nothing groundbreaking but nice tho.  

Heaven Come → A bop 

Yo Sé Que Te Va → is that BOMT sample? Good bop. What I thought about was Mi Gente but this one is great one actually. 

Compa → Those vocals are not it. To me, it seems like you sing off key or something.  However, that instrumentall is great. I can see it play in a movie scene where a hero accepts it's fate / purpose / whatever. Basically a scene where one makes peace with a situation. 

Antes De Conocernos → Yay, a slow song again...  Those long notes are not it. When you sing faster, it's ok but long notes are (were) not it on this album. Like they are not stable.

Luna En Sagitario → stronger / more stable vocals would do justice to this song.  

Bien Orguloas → I feel like I'd heard that befre from you but nice it's a nice track.  For whatever reason (after I saw that video), I can see you doing the do while this song is playing and it's weird. 

Tu Busé → -//- for vocals. 

To be brutally honest, it's 5,5 or 6 / 10 for this one.

• Buem Viaje → An interesting intro to your album. 
• Strange Chronicles → That harph / guitar sound is great, the rest, however, sound like something Shrek would play in his swamp to Fiona 
• No Lo Encontrarás → Your whispering actually goes well with that instrumental (a sensual sound) 
• 6AM → Too loud instrumental but nice song, nothing groundbreaking tho. A good chill sensual song. 
• Liberación Es → Whoa, beginning sounds very promising! K, the song proggress well but then that screaming  it disturbs the actuall vibe of the song. Just imagine you listen to this song to relax and all of sudden there's this scream. Rest of your vocals is kinda quiet tho. 
• Des-pregar → Whoa whoa whoa, it's your 911 moment! Also, just like I stated in my previous review, your long notes are not stable. 
• Hasta Cuárdo → I love the video! Instrumental is way too loud. It's like the background music is the main feature of this song and your actuall singing is like just a background distraction. 
• Luna Llena → Very nice beginning! K, this is a nice one actually. Has that joyous melody and your vocals although being quiet again, it's actually fine this time because it doesn't disturb the instrumental so much!  
• See You Again → Your whispering is not it this time. It doesn't go well with this song. Also this instrumental evoked a feeling in me that The Weeknd's Save Your Tears or Beyoncé's Haunted would kinda fit into one category (do I make sense here? Like category of sensual songs) and I would expect like full vocals on it. It would do this song justing imho. 
• Blasting Off → It sounds like something from very old loggy software.
• Outta Space → That beginning got me  K, to be brutally honest, this is a mix of annoying sounds. 
• Madrugada Índica → nice one, best on the album tbh. I can also see it as an ad song. I would buy anything what would be advertised with this song playing in background. 
• Meditacióń Final → Whoa! Ending an album with a meditation. What an absolute god you are!

Ok, my last review is here  just a quick one before the NYE 

Ra → Hope this is about an Egyptian god Ra. k, it's not and it sounds like a ritual music

Turbio → ok, reagge, so far so good, chorus is not it vocally (long unstable notes and/or off key notes), that part around 2:30 is totally not it - it's doesn't go with the flow just like the rest of the song. It's like a slap.

Tercermundistas → a super lazy song for a super lazy sunday. Your singing is like off key or something. I dunno how to name it but I don't feel it. Otherwise, it's ok.

Noche Sativa → very much ok, a night club music

Mandraguda Indicia → that saxo is great, actually, generally, a fine song

Don't take me for granted → that w**d power at the beginning was cringe, ngl, rest of the song is very much ok but the end was too disturbing (similarly to Turbio)

Vi Un Fantasma → resembles some other song but I dunno which one atm, otherwise it's very much ok song again

Goodnight n Goodbye → off key singing 

Yo Contra El Mundo → again, unstable long notes but it shows how much you've improved compared to the later projects etc.

Un Nuevo Habito → the beginning and the rest of ong are chaotic, too many sounds and all different types of vocals playing at a time. I imagine this is how ADHD sounds like 

Canalizacion → good instrumental, off key or somehow weird vocals but the fast rapping was so good

**** Trap → sing-talking is ok, vocals could be more sensual tho - it would fit this song more , however, this found place in my hot songs playlist

Bow Down → ok Beyonce, whoa it's kinda good actually haha, that repeated "go" is funny, good rapping

Melifua → this instrumentall made me cry (at 1:36) - it made me feel like in a fairytale and/or a safe promised land, rest of the song is ok. I feel like this is something you hear when you're stoned haha

**** Trap → sing-talking is ok, vocals could be more sensual tho - it would fit this song more , however, this found place in my hot songs playlist

Bow Down → ok Beyonce, whoa it's kinda good actually haha, that repeated "go" is funny, good rapping

Melifua → this instrumentall made me cry (at 1:36) - it made me feel like in a fairytale and/or a safe promised land, rest of the song is ok. I feel like this is something you hear when you're stoned haha

My ny's party was fine, dinner with my mom (she's my only family) and after congratulating at 00hs, my friends and I got together to keep on drinking and 4am I was drunk so I went home to sleep  average let's say
