James Corden is facing another huge controversy after he has been accused of plagiarizing a 2018 joke originally told by Ricky Gervais.

We have the clip of the joke told by Corden on The Late Late Show on Monday night (October 31), as well as the clip of Ricky telling the joke during a 2018 stand-up special. And yes, they're incredibly similar.

i was under the impression that James was not problematic. This is kinda shocking news to me. Also, so far I've been watching only Carpool Karaoke so my opinion on him can be different due to that. Why do people dislike him so much?

the last couple weeks specifically brought it more mainstream though when a story broke about him being rude at a restaurant and getting banned

“Forever ago” gurl I was depressed. You act like his carpools haven’t made threads on here since. Wasn’t the managers reaction or stance taken with a grain of salt considering how he’s always been very opinionated and even appeared to have resolved the situation? At least that’s what the NYTimes article was stating.
