There's a back story on why that word was used. SJWs used that word to describe Taylor's use of the word "FAT" in her music video. Fat alone is not a fatphobic slur but SJWs think Taylor used that word in a fatphobic way. There should have been a topic on it but I guess people thought it wouldn't make Taylor change the video. I included it because that it why SJWs are basing their arguments on which made Taylor to ultimately take it out of her music video. This is an example of a comment:

I promise you don't have to defend Taylor's fatphobic artistic choice just because you like her. She can have done a thing wrong. You don't even have to stop liking her because of it!! You don't have to fight fat people for your right to like her lmao

Fat alone is not a fatphobic slur...

That's all, the rest is just bs from chronically online SJWs, irrelevant people that live and love feeling oppresed, i read some tweets and some of them were complaining that Taylor wasn't a ALLY, lmao, and ally for fat people...

Change the title now.

The reason why Taylor changed the music video is because SJWs argued that it was a fatphobic slur so it is best to keep the thread title as is but if the majority says that I should change it then I will.

Honestly it gets a little irritating and tiring that some people get offensive by everything. :jl_jamie_lynn_awkward_cringe_eek:

People love to take things out of context and make them about themselves as if Taylor were specifically targeting them. I mean, who the **** do they think they are? :idkha_mariah_i_dont_know_her_pink_idk_shake_no:

She doesn’t even acknowledge them. :idkha_mariah_i_dont_know_her_pink_idk_shake_no:

This is absolutely ridiculous. So now people can´t speak their personal truths in fear of offending someone? Jebus.

Lizzy probably in a way began a trend,  but unfortunately the argument is valid, it's no longer doing ot for myself,  but I'm doing it for everybody.

That's what's making people mad, and also when one person feels ganged up on cos of the unpopular opinion, you can tell..the depression is harder for them cos they feel alone in today's world.

I miss early 2000s when everybody could make jokes about everything :tiffdrink_miss_ms_ny_new_york_drinking_sips_sipping_tea_straw:

I know what you mean, but I don't miss it THAT much either tbh... Remember the VMAs? You didn't know what to expect there, artists (especially men) would be SO offensive towards women. For example, Eminem was super reckless with his opinions on TV. And let's not even talk about the media... In 2007 they were SAVAGE to Britney.

There should be some middle ground.

It’s a very big problem when people can no longer BE CRITICAL of societal messaging that demeans women (and men, but in the context of fatness, mostly women) based on their body image and the excessive pressures to be thin. Calling out societal pressures to be skinny, and not fat, is not fatphobic. It’s fat-allyship. I’m just, ugh…

I mean also how gurls in Flavor Of Love they scold each other with no problems. Today saying things they said, you will get lawsuits because people are delusional and bored.
